Salkin & Soublis Sell Highest Price Home on Siesta Key

Luxury Real Estate Specialists Marcia Salkin & Paulene Soublis just broke the all-time record for the highest sale on Siesta Key.  Snook Inn, an exceptional waterfront estate on the North end of Siesta Key sold  for $10,000,000. ” We are convinced that the real estate market is back , inventory in all price ranges is shrinking and those waiting on the sidelines will loose the property of their dreams if they don’t move into action”  said Salkin. 

This sale is indicative of the heated, high end  real estate market in the Sarasota area.  Salkin & Soublis recently put their listing at 1207 N. Lake Shore Drive in Oyster Bay under contract with a list price of $1,950,000, as well as, a Longboat Key Gulf front condo that was listed for $795,000. 

Salkin & Soublis still hold the record breaking sale on Bird Key, another waterfront community in Sarasota.  In January 2008, they sold a Bayfront property for $6,900,000.

Sarasota’s Most Admired Waterfront Estate

With three barrier islands and miles of mainland bayfront properties, there is no lack of luxury real estate in Sarasota.  Most of the bayfront properties in the Sarasota area will have 100′ of water-frontage with 125′ depth to the property.  Although this is great, once you put a 3500+ sq. ft. home on the property with a pool and put your boat on the dock’s lift, most of your beloved property and gorgeous views are absorbed.
