Sarasota’s Downtown Condo Culture

If you haven’t been to downtown Sarasota in the last couple of years, you may not recognize it anymore. Drive over the Ringling Bridge and you’ll see what I mean. The skyline is sparkling with the lights of stunning new buildings, including several luxury condominiums under construction.

Sarasota is far from a sleepy beach town, and downtown is fast becoming a mini metropolis that’s a destination for visitors and residents alike. Of course, the biggest news to the area is the soon-to -open The Mall at University Town Center off University Parkway. Salt Lake City and Sarasota are the only two cities in America building a fully enclosed mall of upscale shops and restaurants.
