The Fine Art of Living

Christie’s New York set a new world record on May 4th when Pablo Picasso’s Nude Green Leaves, and Bust sold for $106,482,500 at auction.  A packed showroom of the world’s wealthiest and most sophisticated individuals prompted seven other bidders on the star lot of the Collection of Mrs. Sidney Brody.  Mrs. Brody, who died in November, was the wife of Sidney F. Brody, a Los Angeles Real Estate Developer who died in 1983.  The same individuals attending Christie’s Auctions are the same people who shop on St. Armand’s Circle, boat in Sarasota Bay, play golf on our courses and buy luxury real estate in Sarasota.  We, at Michael Saunders & Company, are proud to be the exclusive affiliate of Christie’s in Southwest Florida and to represent the finest properties in the area.

In the up and coming issue of Christie’s magazine, one of our most special properties will be showcased.  Behind gates on nearly two acres in a prime waterfront, “Snook Inn” is Sarasota’s most admired property by land and by sea.  A wonder in coastal architecture, this fine property includes a 6 bedroom main house with large verandahs, a one-of-a-kind double vessel boathouse, resort-like pool, shuffleboard court and guest house.

A perfect showcase for any work of art, Snook Inn provides the ideal setting to relax and enjoy life at its finest.
