Up-And-Coming Sarasota Living

From the awe-striking Gulf views to the downtown amenities, Sarasota is a rewarding place to call home. As more people discover the wonders of the city, more living options are becoming available. Below, I’ll share the new residences I’m looking forward to seeing most.
 The Developing Downtown
If a residential feel in an urban setting appeals to you, Downtown may be the place you want to call home. Sarasota’s Downtown has four exciting properties coming to the market in the near future.
Ritz Carlton ResidencesThe Ritz Carlton Residences mimic the feel of their resort, in a true home setting. These dwellings are built in vertical construction on the shoreline. Resort perks, such as spa treatments and room service, are available to those who live here. Building is in progress, so if you’re interested in a customized Condominium within the Ritz Carlton, you’ll need to act fast.

EpochEpoch is a Bayfront living option that lands on the smaller side, with just 23 residences within its building. This space is for those who love beauty and uniqueness. Its design was based around the Sarasota School of Architecture, and is meant to be modern yet timeless. Its glass walls provide extensive natural light, and its Bayfront views are absolutely incredible.

The PearlThe Pearl has eight condominiums to offer just outside of Downtown, in the Golden Gate Point. It’s views are twofold, as residents are able to see the Bayfront as well as the Downtown skyline. Custom cabinets, quartz countertops, and bathrooms with a spa-like feel provide luxury living, while outdoor pools, cabanas, and a barbecue area bring entertainment to a new level.

AuteurAuteur is the place to be if you’re main priority is a magnificent view. Their residences provide a panoramic waterfront view with ceiling-to-floor glass walls. It’s location stands out as well, as it is on the Boulevard of Arts. If you’re looking for convenient entertainment, the Auteur’s access to shopping, dining, and shows, may be the perfect fit for you.

 The Growing Lakewood Ranch
Lakewood Ranch has been well-loved over the years, leading to consistent growth. Their new developments are a wonderful piece of calm, comfortable, lakefront living.
WatersideWaterside is a community built around 20 miles of lake shoreline as well as a nature preserve. It’s the perfect way to live among nature, while still being near big-city conveniences. The homes here are designed with waterside living in mind, and each come with unique features. They are large, single family style dwellings.

CresswindCresswind is Lakewood Ranch’s new, 55+ living space. Many people agree that the best place to retire is near the water, and this location provides that benefit to the fullest. Cresswind single family homes range from 2-5 bedrooms, are pet-friendly, and are filled with high-quality features. Cresswind offers entertainment opportunities as well, including a clubhouse, a fitness center, a yoga studio, an art studio, tennis courts, and more. Pricing ranges from $300,000 to $500,000.

 The Palmer Ranch Communities
Sunrise PreserveThis gated community offers both paired villas and single family homes, in a beautiful, nature-filled, and convenient location. The community comes with a resort-stye feel, with the help of its pool, clubhouse, and sports opportunities. The homes start at $325,000.

EsplanadeEsplanade is another community with a tight-knit and entertaining feel, thanks to its pickleball, bocce, dog park, and resort-style pool and spa. Its single family homes are near nature and convenience, and are boasted as giving normal life a “vacation-like” feel. The homes start at $350,000.

 The Iconic Longboat Key
This high-end, waterfront neighborhood is a place many dream of living. Its new development will bring back memories of Longboat Key’s past, while providing an outstanding set of homes.
The Residences on Longboat KeyMost Sarasota Natives knew and loved The Colony. The same land that The Colony once stood on is now home to a new development called The Residences. These homes will be built near the up-and-coming St. Regis Hotel, and will provide those who live there with the perfect balance between elegance and service. These condominiums will be beachfront, and will provide that well-loved “resort-style” feel. The homes will start at $2 million.

These new homes and developments seem to offer something for every buyer. Which place would you love to call “home?”
