Enjoying Sunny Sarasota

What amazing weather we’ve been having! With mornings in the high 60’s in and 80’s in the afternoon, it’s the perfect time to get out and explore all our city has to offer. We’ve been loving the Mangrove Walkway that opened earlier this month — a winding walkway that cuts through the coastal wetlands in The Bay Park. Sunday’s at The Bay has been incredible for enjoying live music in a stunning setting as well.

Sarasota’s New Seafood Scene

Our dining is better than ever with the opening of two high-end seafood restaurants — Triple Tail and Brine. Triple Tail’s beautiful, relaxing environment is perfect for enjoying a luxurious meal and Brine’s Mid-Atlantic specialties are filled with flavors you won’t want to miss.

Celebrating Mom

Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and it’s time to start prepping our celebrations! Below is a photo of myself and my son David at Selby Gardens, one of my most favorite places to be.

Selby Gardens is ready to help you celebrate mom, too, with their latest exhibit at the Jean & Alfred Goldstein Exhibition Series. This incredible sight is led by Selby’s own Carol Ockman, Ph.D., and it gives a glimpse into master artists and their relationship to nature.

Currently featured is Roy Lichtenstein: Monet’s Garden Goes Pop! Water Lilies and haystacks are brought to life by Roy’s Pop Art Lens and Selby’s incredible plant life.

Other ways to pamper mom in Sarasota include a fabulous arrangement by Victoria Blooms, a well-loved and trusted local florist, or a shopping trip to home goods stores Blu Home and Pecky.

Nadia Anti – Ageing Aesthetics is an excellent choice, too, with its completely unparalleled massages facials. Not much can top self-care as you show mom how much she truly means to you.

2021’s Impressive Luxury Real Estate Market

As we enjoy living in this wonderful community, others continuously want to join us. The luxury real estate market is up significantly in 2021. To be exact, 137 homes with an asking price over $3 million have sold, compared to the 21 properties closed in 2020.
